I had 2 months to create a new brand for HBM that encompassed their values and professionalism. Then to take this new branding and create a new clean lead generating website that's optimised to convert those existing and new website visitors.
From research to wireframes to design and marketing, I really enjoyed working on this project and loved working with HBM every step of the way. We're continuously looking to improve the website and it's performance from what we're learning from the Google AdWords campaigns we're running.
I had a 2 month timeline to create HBM a fresh new company brand and create a new website to aid in their journey to position themselves as the #1 EPoS provider in and around Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.
The primary goals were to create a new brand identity and follow this branding through into a new website. Another primary goal was to grow brand awareness and incoming leads with ongoing marketing and website optimisation.
Budget constraints made us re-prioritise ongoing marketing activities and reassign certain activities back onto HBM to complete.
We started by researching client competitors and meeting with the client to get their company’s values and USP. We used this knowledge in crafting our initial branding ideas from which we then refined from feedback.
Research into HBM’s existing website and content began shortly after to help shape the new website. Upon further investigation we found the existing content was not organised well, so we shifted our initial plan to include a complete content overhaul. Gathering all required content and restructuring it.
From initial planning we noticed we had no case study content and image assets were weak. This lead to a photoshoot at a local client of HBM’s to gather some great web and marketing image assets.
Once happy with the new content structure and UX we moved on to implementing the new branding guidelines and using the photo assets to create a stunning and clear design focusing on the benefits that HBM bring to their clients.
Once the design was complete and approved, I optimised technical on-page SEO and meta information as well as implementing important 301 redirects to accommodate the new content structure.
Nearing go live I worked with HBM to outline marketing goals and crafted an AdWords campaign. We’re currently monitoring success and using information found to continually update and optimise the website.
The end result was a unique rebrand for a growing small business and a marketing driven website focused on converting those visitors into leads.

A website with poor images can really affect it's impact. Sourcing original image assets really makes a difference to a website and can be the difference between a site visitor leaving or making that all important enquiry.
Implementing the UX design, page structure, content and following the new branding, a fresh new website was born.
